Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Experience
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a retail location in Garland, Texas. The role involves protecting clients, shoppers, and store associates through visible security coverage, routine foot and vehicle patrols, customer service, and communication. The officer responds to concerns and incidents, monitors activity and access points, reports security-related issues, and completes required documentation. Driving duties require a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements. The position pays $16.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, performing emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and constructively to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, entrances, and perimeter.
- Monitor access points and customer and employee activity, and report security concerns, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
