About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol driver to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in Sugar Land, Texas. The role involves routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license. The officer is expected to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

The position pays $16.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, as required for driving positions and under Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Must be subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials according to site procedures, and report access concerns or unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow emergency response procedures, and contact appropriate resources as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
