About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Dispatcher for an unarmed shopping center assignment in Newport Beach, California. The role serves and safeguards clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. The position also involves responding calmly to incidents and critical situations and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The listed pay rate is $23.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies for clients.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
