About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to support a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Manassas, Virginia. The role safeguards clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping deter security-related incidents, conducting routine access and site checks, and providing professional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

The position is full-time and pays $27.90 per hour. The listed schedule is 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Applicants must hold an active DoD Secret clearance and have at least two years of security-related experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• An active DoD Secret security clearance.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State and/or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Conduct routine access and site checks and help deter security-related incidents.
