About The Position

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Front Desk Concierge in North Charleston, South Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide customer service and communication while helping maintain a secure environment and address security-related concerns. The role is full-time and pays $24.72 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 11:59 PM to 8:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation and drug screen as conditions of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Greet, screen, and direct visitors; verify credentials; maintain visitor access records; and communicate arrivals to appropriate contacts.
Monitor access points, lobby activity, alarms, and communications systems, escalating unusual activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift information, and support a welcoming environment that helps deter unauthorized access.
