Security Officer DoD Secret Clearance Required
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Beavercreek, Ohio. The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and pays $25.16 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The officer will safeguard the site by conducting patrols, supporting access control and site operations, responding to incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position involves working with personnel, visitors, and contractors and following site-specific policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related concerns to site leadership.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site procedures.
