About The Position

As a Security Officer with an active DoD Secret Clearance, you will support a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Saint Louis, Missouri. You will safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. The role calls for teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. The position is full-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule has not been assigned and will be determined during hiring, onboarding, and training based on business needs. The pay rate is $31.23 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Monitor assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
