About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role requires an active Department of Defense Secret clearance and pays $26.50 per hour. The schedule has not yet been assigned; the manager will set it based on business needs during the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Employees can expect to work at least 30 hours per week.

The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine and random patrols inside the location and around its perimeter, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service. The position also involves communicating clearly, responding calmly to security concerns and critical situations, following site-specific policies and security procedures, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
