As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms or unusual activity. Requirements

  • An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements at an aerospace and defense business location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including business operations areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident documentation, communicating observed conditions and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
