About The Position

As a Security Officer DoD Secret Security Clearance in Clearfield, Utah, you will serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. This is an unarmed patrol role focused on monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control activities. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Active DoD Secret clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report access control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with company and site requirements.
