About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Miamisburg, Ohio. The officer will safeguard clients and site operations by providing customer service, monitoring access, conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to incidents, and reporting concerns. The position requires an active Department of Defense Secret clearance. The pay rate is $32.00 per hour, and pay is weekly. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. The role includes paid training and access to additional shifts through the company’s technology platform. Requirements

Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the perimeter; report unusual conditions, property damage, and policy concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
Help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security concerns through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting.
