About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Summerville, South Carolina, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The listed pay rate is $17.51 per hour. The schedule is 10:00 PM–6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state or local licensing requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and potential security concerns.
Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; verify credentials and follow procedures for reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related events.
