About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol officer to serve at a financial institution location in Frederick, Maryland. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position is scheduled for overnight shifts on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when handling incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
