About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Phoenix, Arizona. The officer will help safeguard the site by maintaining a visible presence, conducting armed patrols, responding to security concerns, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 12:45 PM to 4:45 PM, at a pay rate of $26.00 per hour. The position includes customer service, incident response, access monitoring, visitor and delivery documentation, and compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policies, and client post orders. Requirements

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in accordance with site protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
Monitor entry and exit activity and verify authorized access as directed.
Document visitors, deliveries, incidents, and unusual observations according to site procedures.
Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policies, and client post orders.
