About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced to provide armed perimeter patrol and driver services at a food and beverage distribution location in Amarillo, Texas. The role offers assigned, reliable weekly anchor shifts with a six-month commitment, and the opportunity to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Employees may build their schedule up to 40 hours per week and can scale back when needed. Pay is $23.00 per hour, paid weekly.

The listed schedule is Saturday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The officer provides customer service while following security procedures and site policies, conducts armed patrols, monitors access, responds to incidents, and documents security activity.

Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a license is required for driving positions.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a food and beverage distribution location while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility and warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns and coordinating with appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security observations.
