About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time armed patrol officer to support a financial institution location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves conducting routine armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to concerns and incidents, and delivering customer service and clear communication. Officers help protect people, property, and operations while working within site policies and established procedures.

The scheduled hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $29.40 per hour. The position requires CPO certification, and applicants must be at least 21 for armed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Industry-specific security training is required. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and applicable emergency-response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including banking offices, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site policies, and company procedures.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
