About The Position

The Multi Site Security Officer provides security at various client sites in Vernon Hills, Illinois, protecting people, property, and assets. The officer patrols premises, monitors systems, controls access, and responds to emergencies to help maintain a safe and secure environment. The role also serves as a helpful professional resource and ensures people on the property follow safety protocols.

The position offers a wage of $21.00–$22.00 per hour, weekly pay, and a flexible schedule with multiple shifts available at various client sites.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• Above-average computer and technology skills.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities required.
• Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
