About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol driver in Chantilly, Virginia. The role has assigned weekly anchor shifts at a designated site, with a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, allowing them to increase or reduce their hours; the role can provide up to 40 hours per week. The stated rate is $22.00 per hour.

The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Duties include providing client service, following security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
