Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver

About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol driver in Fletcher, North Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required, and report irregular conditions or policy violations.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
