About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol driver to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location in Concord, California. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, assisting visitors and tenants, and communicating professionally with the team. This driving position also emphasizes customer service and supporting a welcoming environment. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $22.90 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and activity throughout the location; report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
