About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol driver to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location in Sacramento, California. The role involves routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access and traffic, responding to incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Officers are expected to provide customer service and communicate clearly while demonstrating reliability, integrity, teamwork, and care. The pay rate is $19.40 per hour. The scheduled hours are Friday and Saturday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Requirements

Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, and visitor activity; verify credentials and follow site entry and exit procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, parking areas, trailer lots, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and irregularities according to site-specific reporting procedures.
