Security Officer Full Time Risk Prevention Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for risk prevention patrol at an oilseed production location in Memphis, Tennessee. The officer will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor and patrol assigned areas, observe and report security-related concerns, support access procedures, and provide professional customer service and communication. The role is part of a collaborative team focused on serving clients and communities with integrity. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and have at least one year of security-related experience. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements. Licensing may be required under state or local law.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and observe and report security-related concerns.
Support access procedures.
Communicate professionally with clients and others.
