About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Twinsburg, Ohio. The officer will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role includes routine patrols and professional communication with drivers, employees, and visitors, supporting site operations through reliable service, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.75 per hour. Requirements

At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State and/or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, trailer yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
