About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a food and beverage location in Columbus, Ohio. This driving position involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control. The officer provides customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a secure environment. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Friday, 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, and pays $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, workplace disturbances, and critical situations, escalating information according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, loading dock, office, parking, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, contractors, visitors, and deliveries.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
