About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution in Chicago, Illinois. The officer will safeguard clients and support site security by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and responding to alarms and other situations as needed. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, teamwork, and integrity. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 11:45 PM to 8:15 AM, at a rate of $19.75 per hour. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
Communicate with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership about incidents, observations, and operational needs.
