Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coordination

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a logistics and distribution location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard the site through routine patrols, a visible security presence, access monitoring, incident response, and accurate reporting. The role also provides customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, drivers, and other site contacts, supporting a welcoming environment and the safe operation of the location. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.37 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following established procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving docks, parking areas, trailers, warehouses, and the business perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, and vehicles, verifying authorization according to site procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
