About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The role involves providing customer service, conducting routine foot or vehicle patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to security concerns, and preparing accurate reports. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.51 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, access points, and other assigned areas.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site procedures, and report irregularities or access concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation protocols.
Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports.
Maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
