Security Officer Full Time Patrol Coordination
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for patrol coordination at a commercial real estate location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role serves and safeguards clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients. The officer supports a welcoming environment while working with teamwork and integrity. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM and Friday from 4:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $18.91 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location.
- Report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established site procedures and documenting activities as required.
- Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
- Maintain professional communication with property management and Allied Universal leadership.
