About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Visitor Access in Holly Hill, South Carolina, for a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and serving employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers. The role includes customer service, a visible security presence, patrols, and responding to incidents according to site procedures.

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Pay is $16.28 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on applicable background and drug screening. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers while following site access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter.
