About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to serve as a Secure Entry Monitor at a logistics and distribution location in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. The officer will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, conduct patrols, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role combines visible security presence with customer service and communication to help deter security-related incidents. The position pays $17.30 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, document visitor and contractor entry, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized activity, unsecured access points, and other security concerns.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access records, and communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
