About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer in Secure Entry Operations in Suwanee, Georgia, you will safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist visitors and employees with professional service. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM, at $17.53 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials, and manage sign-in and badging processes in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns through established channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned technology and corporate facilities, including entry points, offices, and perimeter areas, to identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
Accurately document visitor activity, access-control events, and incident details while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and guests.
