About The Position

As a Security Officer in Secure Entry Operations in Atlanta, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients and maintain a welcoming, secure environment. The role focuses on monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, issuing and managing badges, supporting access procedures, and providing professional customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly and respond to security-related concerns while carrying out site-specific procedures and policies.

The position is full-time and pays $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
• Remain aware of entry and exit activity and report suspicious conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.
