About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Secure Entry Driver in Saratoga Springs, New York, serving a healthcare and pharmaceutical location. The role manages entry points, verifies credentials, monitors access activity, and helps maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and patients. It involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and supporting security response procedures. Because this is a driving position, a valid driver’s license is required under Allied Universal policy. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State and/or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency-response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Screen and direct visitors, vendors, and contractors to appropriate locations while helping control access to restricted areas.
Respond calmly and professionally to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including access points and perimeter locations, and report security-related concerns.
