About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Indianapolis, Indiana, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will support screening operations by monitoring access points, conducting X-ray and package screening, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and authorized deliveries according to site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and documentation as required, and report discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established notification and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including shipping, receiving, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
