About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening in Frankfort, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a manufacturing and industrial setting. You will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by screening visitors, monitoring access, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will support routine procedures, remain attentive to activity at entry points, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. The role is part-time and pays $19.10 per hour. Scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.
Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access requirements at an industrial location.
Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with established procedures.
Verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate check-in areas.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
