About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Screening in Bloomington, California, at a logistics and distribution location. The role screens personnel and visitors, monitors access points, conducts routine patrols, and reports security-related concerns. The officer’s visible presence and customer-focused communication help maintain a welcoming and orderly environment and deter incidents. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The position pays $18.80 per hour and follows a daytime schedule: Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background and drug screening, as well as applicable licensing requirements.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for this driving position.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and other items entering or leaving the distribution location according to site procedures.
Monitor access points and inspect credentials, shipments, and delivery documentation as directed by site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, promptly reporting concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution location and its perimeter.
