Security Officer Part Time Overnight Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard a food and beverage production location in Waco, Texas. The officer will provide customer service and communication to personnel, visitors, and drivers while maintaining a visible presence and supporting site-specific procedures. The role includes routine patrols, access monitoring, documentation, and responding to security-related concerns. Officers must follow sanitation, personal protective equipment, and restricted-area requirements applicable to the food production environment. The schedule is overnight on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.50 per hour. The role uses computer or tablet systems as needed and offers access to additional shifts through the company's Claim a Shift platform.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations prior to employment, if required.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
- Follow sanitation, personal protective equipment, and restricted-area requirements applicable to a food production environment.
