About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service. The role involves carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.25 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate concerns to appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
Monitor cameras and access-control equipment, and promptly report equipment concerns or observed issues to site leadership.
