About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for enhanced patrol zone coverage at an assigned technology-focused site in Whitsett, North Carolina. The position provides a designated weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, with a required six-month commitment to the assigned site and shift. Additional shifts may be claimed through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The position pays $16.89 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and help direct guests.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Complete detailed activity reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
