About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer providing driver patrol coverage in South Bend, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements. The position is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and pays $18.20 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Communicate effectively while serving clients.
