Security Officer Patrol Driver Zone Coverage
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Patrol Driver for commercial real estate zone coverage in West Jefferson, Ohio. The unarmed patrol officer helps safeguard the property by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and professional communication. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The role is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour. Applicants must meet the age and education requirements and will be subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- State and/or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, loading docks, and perimeter access points.
- Identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property procedures.
- Document observations and complete required reports.
- Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and first responders while supporting a welcoming environment.
