About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for patrol and communications work at a residential housing location in Anchorage, Alaska. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate professionally with residents and visitors while providing customer service. The scheduled shifts are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Complete a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence and communicate professionally with residents and visitors.
