About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Communications in Winchester, Kentucky, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. In an unarmed healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role includes providing customer service, communicating professionally, and documenting activity using computer or tablet tools. The position is full-time and pays $16.50 per hour. The listed schedule is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of pharmaceutical operations areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities.
