About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer in Hershey, Pennsylvania, at a food and beverage manufacturing location. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access points, supporting badge and access-control processes, and maintaining a visible presence. The role involves professional interactions with employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, as well as using computer or tablet systems as needed.

The position pays $18.52 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Applicable state or local licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in clear and accurate reports.
• Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
