About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff. The role involves responding professionally to incidents and alarms, reporting unusual conditions, documenting activity, and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
- Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, building alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
- Document observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, loading docks, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and access verification, and report unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
