About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-traffic retail location in Seattle, Washington. The officer will help safeguard clients, customers, and visitors by maintaining a visible security presence, conducting patrols, supporting access control and badge-related activities, and providing customer service. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, documenting security observations and incidents with computer or tablet tools, and communicating with visitors, team members, site management, and Allied Universal leadership.

The schedule is Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.74 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State and/or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of customer areas, entrances, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the perimeter as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support access control practices and address policy violations according to location procedures.
