About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Badge Patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Troy, Michigan. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. The role is part of a team culture emphasizing integrity, innovation, teamwork, and reliability. The position pays $19.08 per hour and is scheduled Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access concerns or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document activities as required.
Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate patrol records, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
