Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Services
About The Position
As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California, you will help safeguard clients and maintain a professional, welcoming environment. The role includes conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points, and supporting badge and access control activities. You will provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff, respond to security concerns, and communicate with property management and emergency responders as needed. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM. Pay is $26.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience.

- Access control and badge experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious conditions and maintenance concerns; maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
- Support a professional, welcoming environment by following post orders and communicating with property management and emergency responders as needed.
- Support badge and access control activities.
