About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol and badge-services role at a retail shopping location in Kissimmee, Florida. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points, and assisting shoppers, tenants, visitors, and vendors. The position requires a valid driver’s license and pays $17.72 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role involves responding calmly and professionally to incidents and disturbances, communicating observations to appropriate personnel, documenting patrols and daily activities, and following site-specific procedures and policies. Requirements

Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, property concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and daily activities and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
