About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support a logistics and distribution location in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, assisting with access control, observing site activity, documenting concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout logistics and distribution facilities, loading areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access control for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Observe facility operations, identify unusual conditions, and communicate security-related concerns to help deter unauthorized activity.
